Northern Becks CaBA Partnership

Trust builds on foundations of CaBA Partnership

The Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Trust is now proud to host the Northern Becks Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) Partnership.

The Catchment Based Approach was an initiative that was set-up to encourage a more civil society-led approach to looking after our rivers. There are CaBA partnerships working in over 100 river catchments across England directly delivering targets of the Government's 25 Year Environment Plan.

The Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Partnership was successful in establishing the first Northern Becks CaBA Partnership back in 2015 and have been working collaboratively with a range of organisations and local communities to delivery environmental improvements to these chalk streams for the benefit of wildlife and people.

Graduate volunteer Matt Broomfield has worked hard with Partners to develop our first Catchment Management Plan for the Northern Becks which you can view below.
