Base: Greater Lincolnshire (although largely home-based)
Salary: Unpaid, reasonable out of pocket expenses covered
Hours: Voluntary, approx two hours per week
Job Description:
Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Trust (LCST) is seeking additional Trustees to join the Board.
We are a new charity, formed in August 2019, whose mission is to protect, enhance and raise awareness of Lincolnshire's important chalk streams and blow wells. We are kindly hosted by the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service who look after the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape, based in Louth.
Our work aims to advance the education of the public in the recovery, conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment. We work closely with Partners at the Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project.
LCST requires new Trustees to join the Board to help us continue our work. We are particularly looking for people with an interest in nature and the desire to do something to help.
The Board meets quarterly usually via Teams however occasional face-to-face meetings may be introduced. Meeting times may vary depending on the availability of Trustees. Attendance at events and other meetings may be required from time to time to promote the work of the LCST and support the aims of the charity.
If you are passionate about Lincolnshire’s natural environment and believe you can bring new skills and ideas to the charity, we would love to hear from you.
Please email your expression of interest to info@lincolnshirechalkstreamstrust.org.uk.
