Job Description:
Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Trust (LCST) is seeking additional Trustees to join the Board.
We are a new charity, formed in August 2020, whose mission is to protect, enhance and raise awareness of Lincolnshire's important chalk streams and blow wells.
Our work aims to advance the education of the public in the recovery, conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment. We work closely with Partners at the Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project.
LCST requires new Trustees to join the Board to help us continue our work. We are particularly looking for people with previous experience as a charity Trustee and someone prepared to act as Secretary to the Trust.
The Board meets quarterly usually via Teams however occasional face-to-face meetings may be introduced. Meeting times may vary depending on the availability of Trustees. Attendance at events and other meetings may be required from time to time to promote the work of the LCST and support the aims of the charity.
If you are passionate about Lincolnshire’s natural environment and believe you can bring new skills and ideas to the charity, we would love to hear from you.
For an informal discussion, please call Chair of Trustees Sarah Baker on 07812 382374.
Closing date: Friday 6 October.
Please email your expression of interest, detailing relevant experience, to info@lincolnshirechalkstreamstrust.org.uk
